Raised in Pratt, Kansas, Matt now lives on a small acreage between Pratt and Cunningham with his wife, Jocelyn, and their two children. The couple met while attending Fort Hays State University, and today, they’re raising their family with a love for the outdoors and a passion for hands-on living.
Matt’s proudest achievement? His family—100%. “My two wonderful children, and the woman who I stand beside to raise them,” he says.
With a BGS in Biology/Geology and a Leadership Certificate, Matt thrives in the diverse work environment at HSS. From managing high-tech AI systems to leading crop sensory strategies and marketing initiatives, he values the opportunity to bring a wide range of skills to the table every day.
Outside of work, you’ll find Matt enjoying travel, cooking, hunting, fishing, DIY projects, and homesteading—living life fully and creatively.
