Mark Vierthaler

Originally from Isabel, Kansas, Mark grew up on a farm and continues to stay connected to his roots by running a small operation with cow-calf pairs. Now as COO of Heartland Soil Services, Mark combines real-world agricultural experience with leadership to help guide the company's growth and daily operations.

Mark and his wife are raising three young children, and he proudly considers his kids his greatest achievement in life.

His favorite part of working at HSS? Getting to see the wide variety of soils and ground across multiple states—something that keeps each day in the field interesting and full of learning.

When he’s not at work, Mark enjoys fishing and hunting, embracing the outdoors and the lifestyle he was raised in.
