Scott Jones is the Sales Manager at Heartland Soil Services. He is a graduate of Kansas State University with a degree in Ag Technology Management. Scott is passionate about agriculture and has an extensive background in the industry. Originally from east central Kansas, Scott now lives in Salina with his wife, Kassi, and their 19-month-old son, Leo. They're eagerly anticipating the arrival of their second son around May 1, 2024. Scott's favorite aspect of his role at HSS is working with the different growers and the awesome team! “I like to see when things "click" for the grower,” said Scott. Outside of work, Scott enjoys exploring and trail riding on side-by-sides in various parts of the country.

Vicki Oldham, is a native of Cunningham, Kansas. She currently serves as the CFO of Heartland Soil Services (HSS). After graduating from Kansas State University with a degree in Agribusiness, Vicki and her husband Landon decided to return to their hometown to raise their family. They have two children, Morgan and Jace. During the summer, the Oldham family enjoys spending as much time as possible at the lake. They also love attending their children's sporting events and spending quality time together. 

Vicki is passionate about her role at HSS and is incredibly proud of their team. "I absolutely love our employees. We have a great team, and I am very proud to be a part of it," she says.The journey to building HSS started in an unexpected way. When Vicki was eight months pregnant and the family had just bought a new house, Landon came home with an ambitious idea. He pitched the concept of HSS to Vicki, who responded with, "Yeah, I think that could definitely work." Landon's reply? "Good, I quit my job today." This marked the beginning of their adventure, complete with a slight moment of panic. Together, Vicki and Landon are dedicated to building HSS and raising their family in Cunningham, embracing the challenges and joys that come their way.

Matt Westerhaus wears many hats at Heartland Soil Services, including Crop Sensory Manager, Acre Intel Manager, and Marketing Director. Matt grew up in Pratt, KS and is a graduate of Fort Hays State University. During his time at FHSU, he met his wife Jocelyn. Together they have two children Macklen and Brecklyn. In addition to his responsibilities at HSS, Matt serves the local community of Cunningham as a Fireman and EMT. Outside of work, he enjoys the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, traveling, and spending time in the mountains. His favorite aspect of HSS is the variety of the job, where everyday is different, including getting to fly around in a helicopter once a year. 

Chris Osner is an Account Manager at Heartland Soil Services. He grew up grew up on a farm near Cunningham, KS. After graduating from Kansas State University, Chris returned to the Cunningham area, where he continues to farm and has a cow/calf operation. He and his wife Kari have three children, which is his proudest achievement in life. Outside of work, Chris enjoys golfing as well as hunting. His favorite part of working for HSS is getting to observe and interpret different soil sample results.
